Elliot and my fun day at Hillary's

We'd all planned to have a family day at Hillary's Boat Harbour, but things didn't quite work out that way (Ollie had a mega meltdown and couldn't pull it together). So Paul and I flipped a coin, and I was the lucky ducky who won and got to accompany our amazingly brave and fun little boy for a great day of waterslides and rides and minigolf at The Great Escape.

Elliot didn't stop all day, jumping out of the landing zones of the slides and practically running all the way to the top of the seriously fast slides over and over again. His excitement and elation was infectious as he spread smiles onto most of the life guards and some of the patrons too. Gosh I love that kid and the joy and life that he radiates!

Here's a few pictures of when I finally convinced Elliot to try out the other rides in the park.

Ollie sings

Just in case One Direction needs a new member, Ollie has his audition tape ready to roll.

Our little bikers

After stumbling across this article on the internet, Paul and I decided the boys were ready to learn to ride their bikes without training wheels. Guess what? We were right!

They nailed it and were riding all over the place within 30 minutes. Just look:

Elliot cruises down hill
Oliver shreds it down hill
Elliot riding like the man
Oliver riding all grown up and stuff
Both boys tearing it up on the basketball court
