Scarborough Beach Staycation

With all the stress Paul and I've been under with extra work and study, a staycation at the newly redeveloped Scarborough Beach was exactly what we needed. Paul and I loved body boarding in the awesome waves and sipping cocktails at the hotel's pool. The boys preferred scootering in the skate park and climbing on the awesome bouldering wall.

Even Ollie overcame his fear of heights and embraced his inner monkey at this awesome new climbing gym.

So long Stella

After three and a half egg-filled years, we've had to say good-bye to our crazy escape chicken, Stella. It was very sad to know that this quirky, adventurous hen has escaped the chicken pen for the last time. To help with the good-bye, Elliot wrote Stella a poem, and Ollie decorated a burial shroud which we wrapped her up in and then buried her in the native garden. You'll always be remembered for your cheekiness, miss Stella. xx

When Paul got an extra ticket for the Freo game, Oliver was dead keen to go. Elliot, not so much. So while Ollie was having a great time cheering on Nat Fyfe and his Dockers with Paul, Elliot and I checked out the Bickley Recreation Centre's Open Day where Elliot got to climb on stuff and let his inner monkey loose.
