Aviation Heritage Museum

When Mom's at work during school holidays, we do cool boy-stuff with Dad like visiting the Aviation Heritage Museum. Mom says she's glad that we had fun, but we know that she's super-jealous she missed out on all the fun after seeing these photos. ~ Ollie

Eye exams

How cute are these little four-eyed hunks?!? So far they've got excellent vision. Let's hope they continue to take after their dad in the eye department.

Dinosaurs take over Perth Zoo

We heard a rumour that dinosaurs have taken over the Perth zoo, so we rang up Peta and the boys and decided to check it out!

Just chillin' in our zebra-mobile when we came across this gigantosaurus!

AAARRGH!! T-Rex is after us!

Showing no fear and posing with the King of the Dinosaurs!

Busselton with the Tower girls

How lucky were we to get free run to Les and Liz's house for autumn holidays whilst they were cruising the world. Clearly it was time for a house party with the Tower girls Busso style. We crashed Simmo's ice cream for mini golf and ice cream (obviously), scrambled around the rocks at Canal Rocks, raced around Yallingup maze, shredded it up at the Busselton skate park, fished off the jetty, and just had fun chilling at the beach. It was a perfect holiday, except maybe for the bit where we couldn't get the kids to shut up already and go to bed, but isn't that what holidays are all about?!?

Churchman Brook Dam and Roley Pools

The weather has been absolutely perfect lately for exploring our gorgeous little corner of Perth. First, we paid a visit to Churchman Brook Dam and hiked all over exploring the old pipes and noticing just how low the water level is in the dam. (We mention this regularly when Elliot is enjoying his boiling hot extra-long showers!)

And then we discovered a new natural wonder in our backyard: the Roley Pools. The first swimming pool from the area and where local kids were given their lessons up until the 1950's. The boys loved running around and jumping over the streams between the pools. We can't wait to come back in the summer and have a swim.

Elliot's rocking primary school

This autumn was full of all sorts of exciting stuff at school for El. First, his class put on the Easter assembly. (El's the energetic little dance machine in green in the front row.)

Then Elliot was presented with a science award. He pretty much loves anything science these days.

And let's not forget that he was his class's Star of the Week, and his classmates said all sorts of awesome things about him like how kind and adventurous and funny he is. I think they know him pretty well.
