A very mellow Xmas

This year's xmas was very mellow and just about perfect. Santa surprised us all with a ping pong table (and we must have been having so much fun that we forgot to take any pics!)

Later on we splashed in the pool and ate rolls and salads with Yvonne, Keith, David and the girls.

The next day we were off to Busselton to visited Lez and Liz. We spent plenty of time riding our bikes and jumping off the jetties into the sea. We even caught up with Sue, Richie and the boys for a bike ride and lunch in Margaret River.

Family fun on Xmas Eve

Yvonne and Keith hosted a fabulous Xmas Eve with the whole family having a great time playing Pass the Pig, shooting pool, and stealing each others' Xmas gifts. To top off the festivities, we all made our way to the crazy light display in Byford.

Daycare performance

The 30th anniversary of the boys' daycare provided an opportunity for Elliot's choir to perform again. It also provided a great opportunity for free cake, sausage sizzle, climbing walls and trampolines. So much free fun!

Kaleidoscope Festival

While Elliot was off being a viking, the rest of us decided to check out Joondalup's Kaleidoscope light festival (unfortunately so did a couple of 100 thousand other folks). It was squashy!

Viking Camp

I think that this Cub Scout had one heck of a time at Viking camp especially because El's team won the boat building challenge.

Badges and awards

Not long after we got back, Elliot impressed his teacher with his knowledge of solar eclipses (and wowed him with the fact that we got to see a nearly total solar eclipse on our holiday), Clever boy earned himself a science award.
