So far Elliot has gone through some really distinctive phases. First, there was the raspberry phase when all he wanted to do was blow raspberries day in and day out. And then it was poking his tongue out all the ding dong day. Next was the infamous babbling nonstop phase which then moved into yet another raspberry phase with a twist. This time his tongue had to be out when he blew his raspberries soaking himself and everyone in his vicinity with baby slobber.
However, it's this new phase that has really got me worried: nipple pinching. Not only does it hurt really badly, it isn't exactly socially appropriate behaviour. Now I've tried explaining all about sexual harassment and how it's not okay to touch other folks like that, but Elliot continues to brazenly pinch away. Interestingly, he doesn't pinch other body parts, just nipples and so far the pinching has thankfully been limited to me and my nipples and oddly only in the morning. Maybe it's a fetish or maybe he's just venting some pent up hostility toward my nonproductive bosoms.
Whatever it is, hopefully it's just a phase . . .

HAHA! I love that Torrey got to this one before me...Erik is a biting monster!! My boobs (which for the record were his bread and butter for almost 10 months) are being MUTILATED! I have no idea why, well, actually, I just saw this morning that Erik is getting his upper molars in addition to his lower canines and molars so needless to say his mouth must be a jumble of itchiness and discomfort. but still! why take it out on me! Anyways, I hope that this phase goes by quickly! Love ya Case!
