Sleeping Beauty

After many intense weeks of crying and little sleep (I almost hate to say it aloud and jinx it), but I think we might be on top of our sleep issues.

The week before our appointment with the sleep clinic, things were really starting to fall into place. Elliot slept through the night the two nights prior to our appointment and I'm pretty sure that we haven't had to get up to put him back to sleep since. Even better, is that he was starting to put up less of a fight to go to sleep (still a fight, but he wasn't pulling quite so many punches). After we got a few extra tips and loads of encouragement at the clinic, we were well on our way to sleeping success.

Now I'm happy to report, more often than not, Elliot quietly goes to sleep when we put him in his crib and it's now the rare occurrence that we have to go back in and settle him again after ten minutes or so of fussing. A month ago, I would have sold my soul to the devil to have him cry for only ten minutes before going to sleep and now he is settling down without so much as a peep. I could just kiss him and I do probably much more than he'd like!

YEAH!!! Oh gosh I looooove reading this Case!! I sooooo sympathize with any mommy that has a baby who can't sleep. It's torture, both mentally and physically. SOOOO glad that Elliot has managed to find his sleeping heart and settle in so calmly every night :)

Not fun! Hopefully he gets the hang of it and goes to bed just like a little angel EVERY night. You have heard of the saying "an angel while sleeping"
