Now Mommy and Daddy are trying to teach me how to put my toys away, but I think I'll pretend I don't understand what that means for a little bit longer. ~ Elliot

Toys, toys, toys!!!
Things have been going pretty well for me these days. Mommy and Daddy have been finding all sorts of good deals on toys and stuff for me lately. First, we stumbled upon a perfectly good plastic toddler gym with slide that some family put out on the side of the road on "Bring out your dead" day. Then they found a big boy tricycle for me at a yard sale for $10. But the best thing that Mommy discovered is a great website called the Gumtree where people post stuff they want to sell. Already she's found me a fantastic Imaginarium bead maze and a Fisher Price Little People farm. Add these new goodies to all my great birthday presents and I'm one toyed up little boy.

My goodness Elliot, you sure have a bunch of nice toys. But I think you should really help your Momma and Daddy put the toys away. Life gets tougher the older you get....and after all, you are a year old now.

Teehee! Erik is just like you, Elliot...he moves so quickly from toy to toy that it is just too silly to try to put any of the toys away before he gets his little fingers on them! You just enjoy that your mommy is so clever at finding fun things for you to play with! Much love from Norway!!
