Lucky for me, Mommy and Daddy didn't forget to take me to see Santa like they did last year. Nope this year we went all the way into the city to Myer so we could visit Santa in his special Santaland.
First, I rode on Santa's train all by myself and I even got my very own golden ticket punched as I boarded. I really liked that.
Next, we waited in line until it was finally our turn. We got led down a little hallway by one of Santa's helpers and into a little room where Santa was sitting and waiting to meet with Oliver and me. And you know who else was there??? Rudolph!!! Santa said that he gave him some special magic food to make him sleep very soundly and rest up for Christmas. But I know he was real because he was breathing and everything!
So after patting Rudolph, I got to business and told Santa exactly what I wanted for Christmas: ice cream!! Strawberry ice cream. I think Santa thought that this was a funny thing to want for Christmas. He also asked me if I've been a good boy, and I nodded but then said, "but I'm also naughty sometimes!" That made him laugh. And you know what else?
I think Santa is very very nice and not at all scary. Oliver, on the other hand, was a bit of a baby and started screaming the second Mommy and Daddy put him on Santa's knee. He even ruined our picture. Maybe next year, he'll realise that it's a really good thing to be really nice to Santa since he brings us such great stuff every year. ~ Elliot
