Busselton School Holidays

This year's Easter holidays were simply fantastic. Karina and family and Heidi and her girls individually decided to holiday down south in Busselton. When they realised the coincidence, they invited us to join them. Lucky for us we've got family in this lovely holiday destination, and our accommodation was secured with a simple phone call.

And what an absolutely marvelous time we had! Within an hour of arriving, the boys and I were biking down to the shore where we met Paul, Lez and Liz for ice creams. Afterward, Ollie got to try out his brand new fishing pole and caught his very first fish. Elliot caught three fish of his own in record time. I think that kid has a knack for fishing.

The next three days were full of trips to breweries for the adults and playgrounds for the kids with plenty of rolling in the sand for everyone.

Elliot's first game of mini golf and his first hole-in-one!

But best of all was that all of the kids were so well-behaved and so much fun to be around. Could this be the beginning of family holidays that are more fun and less work? I don't want to jinx us, but I do know that the group holiday was such a success, we've all decided to do a repeat next Easter holidays.
