Meg and Adam visit from England!

It was so just fantastic getting to know Meg (Paul's cousin from England) and her fiance Adam. There was plenty of family time, but perhaps the most fun we had was the night that we showed them around some of the trendy small bars popping up all over Northbridge. After Vietnamese food at Lido, we headed to the edgy La Cholita for some mezcal shots and tequila cocktails. Some were yummy, others not so much. And then we were off to Frisk for gin cocktails served by hip alt-pin-up girls. Next up rum and my favourite bar of the night Sneaky Tony's with the prohibition era theme complete with the alley entrance and a password required to gain entry. The Dark and Stormy from there will go down as one of my favourite drinks ever! But we weren't done yet. Nope, we were off to the Americana themed bourbon bar Alabama Song for a bit of rye and live music behind the chicken wire. It was a super fun night with fabulous company. Can't wait to catch up with you both in England!
