Look out Europe cuz here we come!

And we’re planning a holiday even the Griswold’s would be jealous of!

First, we meet Grumpy, Ryan, Jen and the kids in Munich to check out the beer gardens and cuckoo clocks. Then, we all head to Neuschwanstein to pretend to be Disney princesses at the castle and then off to the German Alps for some outdoor fun.

After that, we all hop on a train to Venice for a couple of days and then off to Florence and Pisa before finally heading to Rome where the kids will undertake gladiator training before we wander around the ruins of the colosseum and the forum. We’ll also likely eat our own body weight in pizza, pasta, and gelato.

After saying goodbye to Ryan and his tribe, Grumpy and we continue to Sorrento and Pompeii before jetting over to Santorini to check out Greece’s island life. On the mainland, Elliot is stoked to check out the Acropolis and can’t wait to educate us all on Greek mythology. I can’t wait to see the monasteries of Meteorra.

Next up, we get our nature fix in the beautiful mountains of Albania and in the Bay of Kotor, Montenegro before continuing north to Dubrovnik to walk the city walls and imagine ourselves in King’s Landing.

We hop on a six day cruise around the Dalmatian islands before saying goodbye to Grumpy in Split, and we continue up to Zadar to check out the Sea Organ and Plitvice to wander around the lakes and beautiful waterfalls.

We continue to Slovenia to check out Ljubljana and all the seemingly stunning natural attractions nearby, like Lake Bled, the traditional alpine shepherd’s villages of Velika Planina, and the amazing Skojcan and Postojna caves.

Next up, we fly over to Paris to climb the Eiffel Tower, smile at the Mona Lisa, search for gargoyles at the Cathedral of Notre Dame, and wander the streets pretending to be Parisians. Ollie has been studying French and can’t wait to introduce himself to everyone he meets.

After Paris, we train up to Amsterdam for a few nights of windmills, Van Gogh, bicycles, and a visit to Anne Frank’s house and then hop on an overnight ferry to Newcastle in northern England.

We have an epic whirlwind trip around Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England catching up with old friends, meeting Paul’s extended family, pretending to be knights and princesses, hunting for the Loch Ness monster, riding on a double decker red bus, and doing every single Harry Potter related thing we can find.
