We went in for our 19-week anatomy scan last week and got to have a 3-D look at the newest member of the family. Everything looks absolutely perfect. He's got all his parts in all the right places and if you ask me, he's already quite the looker! This was our favorite photo, and no he doesn't have a stump for an arm. It just looks that way in this photo.
And yes, we're pretty set on the name Oliver, but we're going back and forth on middle names. I quite like Milo, but that's the name of the main brand of hot chocolate here so Paul thinks it's not so great. We're looking for something fun. Any ideas?

I love the name Oliver! And he does look like Elliot did. I still have Elliot's ultrasound on my refrigerator.
Elliot and Oliver. Quite nice.
I will work on a middle name. Dad and I have been thinking about some names. Will let you know.
It absolutely boggles our mind that:
1. You can get such cool pictures of Oliver (I didn't even have an ultrasound when I was pregnant in the dark ages)
and 2. That you can send me the pictures half way around the world.
Technology....what a wonderful thing!
Speaking of technology.....your Dad came home with the new iPhone yesterday. He said it is unbelievable compared to his last phone. And his last phone was state of the art when he got it. I suppose now I will have to trade in my version 2 for a version 4. Can't let Dad get ahead of me. Besides if I get the same model we can get some awesome apps to interact with each other. So cool!

I like Oliver Sebastian Thomas. He would grow up to be in a ultra-cool, indie band.
How strange! Sebastian popped into my head while water aerobicising tonight. Not bad.
I loooooove the name Oliver! I told Daniel a few weeks ag that if we ever had another surprise baby like Ian then we should name him Oliver. Gosh middle names are tricky though!! Any family names that could work? I suppose oliver niemeyer is a bit of a mouthfull :P
Oh I like Sebastian!

I like the idea of using a middle name from a family name as doing geneology I find my family have the name Barber passed down Susan gave Vincent the family middle name of Thomas so using the your maiden name as suggested would be great but why not shorten it to Meyer.
