I may be little, but I do know that even though the trip to visit Gramma and Grumpy was quite a bit different than Mommy and Daddy were planning, we couldn't have come at a better time.
Y'see, Gramma was diagnosed with cancer a few days before we left for the States (and she'd been feeling crummy for weeks before that!). And she kept feeling crummy most of the time that we were there. She felt crummy for Mommy's birthday, and she felt so crummy that she couldn't even come to our family reunion with us.
So when the doctors told her that her cancer was really bad (stage 4) and that she needed to go into hospital immediately to start getting the yucky medicine (chemo), we were all super relieved. Finally, she'd start feeling less crummy. And she did.
And do ya know why it was a super great time for us to visit? Because Gramma really needed my kisses and raspberries and running hugs and leg rubs to help her feel better. I just hope that I gave her enough to last through the next few months as she keeps fighting those nasty cancer bugs.
Love you Gramma!
