And guess who were waiting for us and ready for plenty of laughs and good times? Yep, Uncle Ryan, Auntie Jen, Evan, Claire, new baby Kathryn and Riley the dog were parked out front in their great big camping trailer. We all had a blast going to the local splash playground, playing in the pool in Gramma and Grumpy's front yard, and making trips to the local 'healthy' frozen yogurt shop.
Well, Oliver mostly had a blast. He did when he wasn't busy smacking Claire who curiously learned how to push his buttons in record time, but let's not dwell on that. She also called him Oviler (had a hard time getting the sounds in the right order) and I found it immensely endearing.
And Elliot was in heaven. With Evan, he had a new big kid to follow around and idolize and try to be like. (He'd be meeting many new best friends during the trip!)
As for me, I was just over the moon to hang out with my brother and wonderful sister-in-law and catch up on all the missed cuddles with my adorable nieces and awesome nephew. And getting to see baby Kathryn while she was still just a little one was definitely a treat. Too bad she really didn't appreciate my cuddles as much as I liked hers.

| I don't think we'll have any chance of squeezing Kathryn into the tub too next time we visit. |
