Book Parade

Today was Book Parade day which meant that Elliot got to choose to dress up as a character from his favourite book. I was so proud when he decided to dress up like Saucepan Man from The Magic Faraway Tree series (an Australian/English classic by Enid Blyton) instead of Spiderman or Ben 10 or some other non-literary character like so many of his friends dressed like. (I know, I'm a book snob, and what's more, I'm probably making my son into one of those kids whose only friends are in books). Whatever. I'd say he pulled off one dapper Saucepan Man!
