Mommy and I got to join Elliot's class on a field trip to a farm today, and it was so much fun! We collected eggs, held chicks, fed sheep and goats, watched Molly the cow being milked, and even got to hold bunny rabbits. Too bad Elliot got all red-eyed and sneezey when he held his rabbit because I really want one as a pet. Mommy says we can get chickens instead just as soon as Daddy and Grumpy make us a chicken coop.
Mommy was really proud of her boys because we weren't afraid to hold or pat any of the animals, and we both rose our hands to ask Farmer Rick questions. She says that I'm definitely getting ready to start school next year. I say I'm ready to be a farmer today! ~ Oliver
