Cowboys on the trail

If you ask Ollie or I what we liked the most about our trip to Wallowa, our hands down favourite would be our afternoon horseback riding along the ridge beside the Wallowa River. We all felt like cowboys as our trusty horses safely manoeuvred the rocky trails high above the river. Ollie was feeling so confident that he asked our guide for control of his own horse just like his big brother. The two of them amaze me with how natural they are atop a horse. The guide even said that he reckons that they're ready for a cattle drive.
