Geysers galore

One of our most memorable days was the day we spent visiting Old Faithful and all the other incredible geysers and geothermal spectacles in the Geyser Basin. While the kids were working on their awesome junior scientist program, we noticed a geyser sputtering a bit. I asked a passing ranger about the geyser, and he informed us that we shouldn't waste our time waiting for it to erupt as it is completely unpredictable and only erupts every three to five years. Not five minutes later, Giant Geyser proved our ranger friend wrong and we got treated to an incredible show (and a bit of a shower).
