We spent the morning walking along the Sydney Harbour Bridge and doing a super fun scavenger hunt around The Rocks learning all about the history of Sydney and the First Fleet.
In the afternoon, I nabbed a spot at a waterfront park close to our house. The boys met me later for a picnic with some Irish girls who I'd made friends with as we waited for the 9pm family fireworks from the Bridge. The boys were tucked into bed and missed the big show, but Paul and I toasted in the New Year watching the big Sydney fireworks from our backyard.
