I was so looking forward to passing on the good news that we've been home for a week and Elliot is healthy and has put on heaps of weight and is really into eating now. And all this was true on Friday. Unfortunately things took a turn for the worse Friday night and we're now back in hospital with another infection (or the same one came back).
It's too soon to know what's going on for sure, but I can tell you that he's been put on IV again and that his temperature has now dropped. Now the little guy is just in for more tests and a waiting game as the doctors try to figure out what's going on with him. Fingers crossed that we can get on top of things this time and get him healthy again for good.
I don't have much time to write back in the hospital computer lab, but I do appreciate your comments and emails. Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts.
