The house was so cozy we hardly left, but we did make it to the waterfront in Yorktown for some yummy fish and chips, random colonial people spotting (including a very unfriendly George Washington), and a play on the beach.

Fun times with Karen, Romeo and Avery
Despite the weather and some last minute scheduling difficulties, we managed to have an amazing time catching up and hanging out with Karen, Romeo and Avery in our quaint island cottage in the York River. The boys had a blast playing lego and running around catching big arm crabs. We parents had our fun drinking wine, playing Cards against Humanity, and trying to identify the purpose of the plethora of random kitchen items (eg. toast holders!)
The house was so cozy we hardly left, but we did make it to the waterfront in Yorktown for some yummy fish and chips, random colonial people spotting (including a very unfriendly George Washington), and a play on the beach.
